CyprusPride - THANK YOU's!
Thanks to the many many volunteers who helped make the first Cyprus Pride a reality. Congratulations should go to loads of people and please don't address them just to myself because that simply does not reflect the weight pulled by so many others. My sincere heartfelt thank you's go out to:
The invisible number 2, Ioanna Constantinou, who for over 7 months has beenhelping plot the big picture, shout were needed and trusting and marching like a trooper on so many occasions when asked. I hope the LGBTI community can understand how you had helped and can acknowledge the magnitude of your actions.
Harry Mavromichalis for his invaluable help with curating the First Cyprus LGBTI Film Festival we had running through the course of the Pride. Harry thank you also for making us dream big from day 1 back in December and thank you for managing to get the so much needed international support from Olympia Dukakis and Whoopi Goldberg.You were a sturdy log to catch on when needed and I trust you already know this.
Nicko Zavallis, our Event Manager, who made the day run amazing smoothly. Thank you for taking care of all the important minor details and for making the day a reality. The event was your environment and you thrived in the scene! I was impressed!
Elena Giorgallou whom I so sincerely and humbly appreciate not only for the work that she did, but in particular the grace she carried it through. Respect!

I was glad to see you there with us yesterday and I know you were as excited as we were. Special love to my dear Sylvie Mantis, the President of the Steering Committee that overtook the major task of coordinating our actions to register the organisation. Yoryis Regginos, Despina, Zoe Kakota, Marilena Kyprianou, Avgi Stavrou, Anthie, Evros, Stella - all past members of Accept's Board that helped, each in their own way, lay down the foundations for what we experienced yesterday.
Last but definitely not least guys, our dear Alecos Modinos for leading the way. It's such an honour to be next to you Alecos at any given time. I am truly humbled by your modesty.
