(off Kennedy Av.) in Nicosia.The topic up for discussion in the agenda of the Extraordinary General Assembly is the possibility to call new Elections in September 2013, following the resignation of a number of board members.All Full Members with settled obligations towards the organisation have the right to vote during the Assembly.
To mark the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia (17 May), ILGA-Europe launches its Rainbow Europe package reviewing the human rights situation and assessing what life is like for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex (LGBTI) people in Europe in 2013. Once again Cyprus appears together in the group of countries at the bottom of the list of countries as far as LGBT rights are concerned, with total mark of barely 20%, putting Cyprus on the 34th position amongst 49 European countries. Broken down to the different categories, Cyprus gets:
